In this video you will learn another high protein vegan dessert – a vegan chocolate mousse using xanthan gum as a thickener.
Makes: 1 serving
Protein: 51 g
Carbs: 20 g
Fat: 17 g
1 cup plant-based milk of choice
1 tbsp raw cacao
A big pinch of salt
1 tbsp cacao nibs
3 tbsp chocolate vegan protein powder
1.5 tsp xanthan gum
2 tbsp sliced strawberries or berries of choice
1. Combine all ingredients except for the cacao nibs in your blender or immersion blender.
2. Add the cacao nibs and stir. Store the mixture in the fridge for 1-2 hours.
3. The mousse can be eaten directly but it tastes best when served chilled.
4. Top with your desired toppings such as strawberries, blueberries or granola.
